Description: This map displays multi-layer layer groups that include state and federal marine protected areas (MPAs, 2014). Each layer is symbolized on a different value in the attribute table. State and federal MPAs are displayed by managing agency, protection level, and fishing restrictions.

State and federal commercial fishing closures for 2015, provided by BOEM, are also shown.

(The "Federal MPAs without Seaward of the 700 fm - EFH CA" is a subset of the MPA Inventory including only federal level features.)
